Modern machines must be flexible, efficient and safe. There is a need for safety solutions that can be easily integrated, scale with the machine and reliably handle a range of safety functions.
This is where Schmersal’s CSP compact safety controller comes into play. The flexibly programmable controller comprises CSP-C basic modules and CSP-E expansion modules, thereby forming a scalable platform for functional safety. Thanks to its modular design, the CSP can be flexibly adapted to a variety of machine configurations – from compact stand-alone machines to applications with numerous safety functions. Safe signal processing, easy expandability and practical integration within a single system.

CYBER SECURITY

CSP supports machinery manufacturers in implementing the requirements of the Machinery Regulation 2023/1230 regarding protection against tampering, as well as the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act 2024/2847 for products containing digital elements.
Access to projects and devices is protected by individual passwords.
Permissions are uniquely assigned to the respective roles.
Unauthorised changes to the safety application are prevented.
